The Rudolf Steiner Institute has been a part of the Anthroposphisches Zentrum since its foundation, takes part in their activities and makes its own contributions. For instance, the institute organizes public projects, and the students' presentations and artistic graduation events are open to the public. Additionally, the institute supports its cultural activities with funding and ideas. A representative of the institute is a member of the executive comittee of the Anthroposophisches Zentrum.
Additionally, the institute is well connected to other Anthroposophic institutions as well as to independent, confessional or city-run facilities, such as daycares, schools and facilities for children, adolescents, the elderly and people with special needs. Moreover, the institute has built a network of contacts to craftsmen in the greater Kassel area. In particular, fruitful and lasting cooperations were the result of the internships the students are required to do and the play groups they organize in different parts of Kassel.
We also have productive cooperations with other institutions, such as other schools, e.g., the Knipping School and the Fröbel Seminar, and cultural institutions, e.g., Medienprojektzentrum im Kulturbahnhof or the Brüder Grimm festival.
The training centers, schools, daycare facilities and homes for people with special needs which are based on Waldorf education principles are well connected regionally, statewide, countrywide and even internationally in various forms, organizations and committees. Representatives of our institute regularly participate in meetings, workshops, congresses and further training.
A lot of events like these also take place in the Anthroposophisches Zentrum and in the Rudolf Steiner Institute, for instance a meeting of daycare employees takes place every fall.
